I actually received the EXACT same email this morning, targeted towards SEO Design Solutions. This was definitely one of the savvier phishing attempts I’ve seen recently.

wow…. it threw me at first too! I am in a school and we often copy things and are careful to give credit when quoting to avoid plagiarism. Thank you ADDVISORS for having this page to report the phishing email!

You weren’t targeted. I received the exact same text in my mailbox at 12:34CDT, and the company it was sent to (which no longer exists) has nothing to do with the law, no similarity in name, etc. It’s just a coincidence.

Thanks for the timely post on this unusually sophisticated, individualized phishing scam that our firm just received. I’ve reported this incident to Comcast, where SpamCop indicates the mailings originated.

In our opinion, having a rel=”nofollow” is not necessarily bad, as it will create a more natural linking environment for your website.

A link without rel=”nofollow” will be treated by the search engine as a link passing full link juice, because of the natural balance between the links.

Digg your way to the top? Unless you get dugg to the front page, which is highly unlikely, your submission will be seen by very few people and drive no traffic. Plus, your link will be tagged with a rel=”nofollow” so your submission won’t help your search engine rankings either.
